Tunnel Under Lyndale. William Wiethoff Would Dig One to Connect Property on Two Sides of Avenue. William Wiethoff has applied to the city council for permission to dig a tunnel under Lyndale avenue, near Forty-ninth street. Wiethoff owns the land on both sides of the street, his brick plant being on one side, and he wants to use the other for storage purposes. A tunnel would give him a short haul and would prevent interference with other traffic. (The Minneapolis Journal, Friday Evening, December 11, 1903, Page 16)
William died March 30, 1930, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
