Children David (age 25, born in Maine), Taylor (age 20, born in Maine), Mary J. (age 18, born in Maine), and Stephen H. (age 15, born in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.
The 1880 United States census showed Stephen Robinson (age 71, born in Maine, farmer) married to Betsie (age 60, born in Maine) and living in Money Creek, Minnesota. A son, Stephen H. (age 24, born in Minnesota, farm laborer), also lived with the couple.
Stephen Robinson came on with Mr. Sinclair, and purchased a claim of Willis Thompson, who had made some improvements. Mr. Robinson was originally from Maine, and had previously visited the territory and selected a place in what is now Goodhue county, but coming with Mr. Sinclair he concluded to remain here on section nineteen, where he still lives. The 1900 United States census showed Betsy M. Robinson (age 81, born in Maine in December 1818) living with her son Stephen H. (age 44, born in June 1853 in Minnesota) in Money Creek Township, Houston County, Minnesota.
