F. X. Goulet, of Staples, Minn., in writing to the Adrian Manufacturing Co., Adrian, Mich., says: “The auger brick machine that I bought of you in 1891 (a McKenzie) has been run every season since, making an average of some 2,500,000 brick per season, and I am glad to say it has given the best of satisfaction. It is strong and durable and has not cost me anything for repairs except for dies, auger sections and other wearing parts, but the machine proper is as good today as a new one. In properly-tempered clay it turns out 40,000 brick per day and has run out as many as 45,000 brick a day.” This is a good testimony to the value of the products of the company. The company will be pleased to forward literature on its products upon application. When you write, mention “Brick.” (Brick and Clay Record, Kenfield Publishing Company, Chicago, IL, Volume XXIII, Number 5, November 1905, Page 198)
