First Kiln of Brick Burning
The first kiln of pressed brick ever fired in Crookston is now burning at the Plant of the Northern Pressed Brick company in Jeromes addition. The kiln was fired Saturday evening and will be burned by the end of this week. The brick are coming out of the press in fine shape and with the present favorable weather it is probable that a night crew of men will be put on shortly. The brick will be on the market before the end of next week and Crookston people will have an opportunity of seeing the first front pressed brick ever manufactured in the valley.
