They lived with Stanton Kendall (age 61, born in Vermont, doctor) and Fanny (age 57, born in Massachusetts).
The 1875 Minnesota census showed J. B. Kendall (age 37, born in Pennsylvania) living with his parents S. B. (age 67, born in Vermont) and Fanny (age 63, born in Massachusetts) in Worthington, Olmsted County, Minnesota.
The 1880 United States census showed Joseph Kendall (age 42, born in Pennsylvania, merchant) married to Belle (age 25, born in New Hampshire) and living in Byron, Minnesota.
The 1900 United States census showed Joseph Kendall (age 62, born in April 1838 in Pennsylvania, brick manufacturer) married to Mary (age 49, born in March 1851 in Ohio) and living in Byron, Minnesota. Children Corra (age 15, born in July 1884 in Minnesota), Calla (age 16, born in July 1884 in Minnesota), Stella (age 14, born in December 1886 in Minnesota), Ned (age 12, born in April 1888 in Minnesota), and Arella (age 5, born in April 1894 in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.
